Former President Donald Trump's campaign is fighting back after the rock band Foo Fighters claimed the use of its song "My Hero" was used during a rally without permission.

A spokesperson for the band told The Hill use of the song was not authorized for the Trump campaign during a rally in Arizona with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. They added that any royalties the band earns from the song will be donated to Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign.

"Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were they would not have granted it," the spokesperson said.

On X, when the band was asked whether they approved the use of the song, the band replied, "No." A screenshot of the reply was shared with the comment, "Let us be clear."

Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung replied to The Hill and said, "We have a license to play the song."

Cheung also took to social media to dispute the claim.

"It’s Times Like These facts matter, don’t be a Pretender," he wrote on X, referring to two songs by the band.

"My Hero" played at Trump's rally in Glendale Friday as he introduced former presidential candidate RJK Jr., who suspended his campaign earlier in the day to support Trump.

Kennedy was greeted by thundering applause as he took the stage to the Foo Fighters and a pyrotechnics display after being introduced by Trump as “a man who has been an incredible champion for so many of these values that we all share.”

Recently, singing icon Celine Dion also criticized the former president for using "My Heart Will Go On"at a Trump and Vance rally in Bozeman, Montana.

"Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana," Dion said in the statement posted on X and Instagram.

The singer seemingly poked fun at the song choice by saying, "Really, THAT song?"
