In 1960, Woolworth's in Nashville was the site of one of the most influential sit-ins of the civil rights movement.
Leaders such as Diane Nash and John Lewis were berated and attacked while they peacefully protested the segregated lunch counters.
Now, Tom Morales and his team have turned Woolworth's into Woolworth on 5th, a restaurant that will act as a "welcome table" for all of Nashville.
With great food and music, Morales wants Woolworth on 5th to be a place where people can remember the past while moving towards the future.
