Our temperature roller coaster ride continues this week with another arctic blast moving in by Wednesday.
Tuesday will be mild, with temperatures in the upper 50s. Cloudy skies & scattered showers will accompany the mild day.
The cold front will move through the area Tuesday afternoon and temperatures will nose dive going into early Wednesday.
Most of the rain should clear middle TN before temperatures drop enough to create any winter headaches.
The only exception will be early Wednesday morning for those near the Plateau. We could see a brief rain to snow change over leaving higher elevations with a grassy dusting.
Right now, little to no impact is expected through Wednesday morning.
I'm also watching a small batch of rain/snow showers that could be possible Wednesday afternoon/evening.
This could result in a grassy dusting of snow, as temperatures continue to drop Wednesday night.
A few slick spots on bridges and overpasses for Wednesday night & early Thursday.
