There’s some new additions, new tastes, and new news that might be bad news for one couple in this weeks “90 Day: Happily Ever After.”

DARCEY AND GEORGI

Darcey and Georgi have landed in Bulgaria, prepared for their honeymoon, but unprepared to meet Georgi’s parents.

After a night at a hotel where they test the soundproofing, so as not to disturb other guests during their belated honeymoon, they have a quiet dinner together when the subject of his parents comes up.

Georgi is nervous about Darcey meeting them, recalling their expectations for him as a smart kid who did well in school and wondering if his present life is going to match their hopes and dreams. Darcey takes this as an insult, asking if he’s embarrassed by her. She also asks him point blank if he’s told his parents he’s happy in his marriage, and he says he never complains to them. That wasn’t the question, Georgi! Georgi remains concerned they’re going to pick Darcey apart but it’s unclear if it’s out of concern for her or for himself.

GINO AND JASMINE

Gino has dinner with his cousin Dana and his wife Michele, both of whom say they’re still close with Jasmine. He tells them he’s invited his new girlfriend Natalie to Michigan (and they rightfully point out she looks EXACTLY like Jasmine, to which Gino strangely doesn’t admit to right away), and they’re more curious how his confrontation with Jasmine went.

He explains Jasmine’s supposed cheating and that he asked for a divorce. Michelle and Dana don’t think Jasmine actually cheated, and says she doesn’t trash talk him to others. They encourage him to have at least one more meeting with his potential ex without it turning into a fight. That will be foreshadowing for how well it goes later.

Jasmine meanwhile is getting a pedicure with Matt by her said, you know, just like how platonic friends do! And Jasmine does insist that she is just friends with Matt. Matt is not thrilled by the title of friend and is sincerely hoping Gino screws up in Jasmine’s eyes so he can finally swoop in.

She and Gino meet for a lunch that starts off well, they’re laughing, reminiscing about the good times, and Jasmine is even crying saying she still loves him and misses him. She asks about the divorce and he admits it was kind of an impulsive idea, but he wants to know why she’s still living with Matt after four months. She tells him she and Matt are just roommates, and Gino asks if they’ve been intimate, which she admits, saying it falls within their open marriage agreement. But Gino feels like he can’t trust her and now she doesn’t trust him after he met Natalie in Las Vegas and they argue until she tells him “f—k you” and leaves.

JOVI AND YARA

Yara is struggling a little because Jovi has to leave for three weeks at a time due to his job, but she’s been building her luxury dog accessory business. There’s one catch: they don’t own a dog. But Yara surprises Jovi at the airport with a new addition, an insanely adorable puppy named Mila, named by their daughter, Mylah (and yes they agree it’s confusing).

Jovi doesn’t hate the puppy but wishes Yara was focusing on expanding their human family. But Yara doesn’t want to add another kid in the mix with Jovi gone all the time, and suggests when her business takes off he can quit his job.

She is dedicated to making the business a success and does a photoshoot with Mila (the dog) with the help of fellow “90 Day” star Loren. One problem though: Loren is not that great a photographer and all her shots are off or blurry. Yara is irritated, but Loren shrugs it off because you get what you pay for, which in this case is nothing. Loren was doing the photos for free.

Loren does drop a hint of trouble between her and Alexei, who is badgering her about being more feminine, despite staying home to take care of three young kids every day. Yara notes that Loren and Alexei seem like the perfect couple on the surface, but secretly have all these problems. She also calls Alexei controlling and childish.

TIGERLILY AND ADNAN

Tigerlily and Adnan have moved into their cabin with the $12,000 toilets, where Adnan continues to vape despite Tigerlily’s complaints. Almost worse than the smoking and vaping is the fact that Adnan was dishonest about it with her, but he also refuses to quit. At least stop smoking around your pregnant wife, Adnan!

The next day Adnan is driving again and they’re going to visit her dad and stepmom, Steve and Brenda, who are hesitant at best about the relationship. They meet at a Texas BBQ restaurant, and Adnan has to be careful of much of the food because it contains pork, something he doesn’t eat as a Muslim. However, after a clip of him complaining about American food, he finds he LOVES BBQ beef, it might be the happiest he’s been on camera this entire time.

But more importantly, the topic of Tigerlily converting to Islam comes up, and to their credit, Steve and Brenda are trying to understand the religion. One sticking point is the fact that Tigerlily will likely have to cover up more, which she says she won’t mind if she does convert. But the emphasis is on “if,” even though Adnan pushes about it again during their sit down interview.

BRANDON AND JULIA

Brandon and Julia have made it past their fight about his pushy parents and the pressure for her to get a second opinion on her fertility issues. They’re hanging out at a beach with some friends, who happen to have a baby, and that gives the young couple some serious baby fever. Seeing Brandon play with the little baby brings Julia to tears as she opens up a little about her fertility issues and her initial diagnosis back in Russia. She also finally agrees to get a second opinion.

Poor Julia is a nervous wreck on their way to the appointment, understandably so, she doesn’t want to go through the heartbreak of being told she can’t have children twice. They get in with a pair of very nice nurses who talk them through everything including some signs there are physical issues blocking fertilization.

That’s all news to Julia who wasn’t told that information in Russia and she feels like she has more problems with her fertility than she thought. But the nurses assure her there will be more information at the next appoint after some blood tests and other check ups. But still, poor Julia!
