After multiple teases and a cliffhanger last week, we finally learn who was in the ambulance!

And if you put your money on Colt, you were right.

Colt was in Cortney’s room having breakfast and slipped and fell on a rainy step, painfully breaking his leg. He immediately was taken to the hospital via ambulance, joined by Cortney, who feels so guilty about him falling she’s in tears. Jennifer also tags along to help translate at the hospital, since she’s a fluent Spanish speaker.

Side bar: Cortney, it’s genuinely sweet you feel bad, but it is not like you tripped him! A slip and fall can happen to anyone. But as we learn later at the hospital, the dramatic injury does potentially bring these two closer together.

The cast is shaken by Colt’s injury, but the hunt for love must continue so the remaining group goes to a cooking class, a sexy one no less with a focus on ingredients designed to improve your “performance” according to the chef.

The chef is doing their best to explain what each aphrodisiac food does to the body without being explicit. Regardless, everyone is making food double entendres left and right. Tim for one is intensely grossed out by the figs, which he is told look like part of the female anatomy, but he’s not buying it.

During the class, Usman realizes Cortney’s not there and is caught up on the dramatic exit to the hospital with Colt. While Usman insists up and down he’s concerned for Colt, he can’t help but be jealous and quite confused. He successfully asked her out the night before, why was Colt in her room for breakfast the next day?

Cortney stays with Colt, who is being transferred to another hospital for surgery, while Jen eventually returns, and the group splits into girls and guys nights out.

Jennifer fills in the girls on the severity of Colt’s broken leg and they all have a brief moment of existential dread about the fleeting nature of life in the party van.

In the guys’ van, they do not hit the same wall of philosophical concern but do wonder who will have more drama that night and make their bets that it will be the girls.

This will be foreshadowing for later as both parties turn into absolute shouting matches.

Let’s start with girls’ night, which starts off smoothly enough. The gals toast to seven years of good sex, swap sexual war stories, and dish on their fantasies. That last bit stresses out Chantelle, who is grappling with her own sexuality, but she’s able to avoid having to say anything she’s not ready for as other drama takes center stage.

Tiffany has the brilliant idea to essentially host an airing of grievances, which mostly involves badgering Jennifer to admit she has hooked up with Rob and is stringing Cole along, at least in her and Elise’s opinions.

Elise would also like to find out who exactly has been saying she slept with Rob, a rumor that was already quashed once this week, but has popped up again today after Jennifer claimed someone told her about it.

Both Elise and Tiffany think Jennifer is breaking Cole’s heart and doing herself a disservice by still interacting with him even as she says he reminds her of her toxic exes. Tiffany is also irked that Cole comes and complains to her about Jennifer while she’s trying to focus on her own love quadrangle (more on that in a minute).

After bickering back and forth, Elise demands once again to know who told her the rumor about her and Rob and Jennifer practically blurts out it was Cole. And to be honest, no one seems to buy it. More arguing breaks out and that’s where we leave girls night this episode, with Elise, Tiffany and Jennifer all yelling at each other and the rest of the group watching the train wreck unfold.

Meanwhile over at boys’ night, things also start out smoothly, but it quickly goes off the rails all thanks to Rob.

First, the guys try to chat up some British gals who happen to be at the club they’re at, but Rob IMMEDIATELY kills the vibe complaining about his ex, who is also from England. The glances between the girls are priceless as any chance any dude in that group had just fizzles. It’s gotta be some kind of bro code violation to torpedo the potential good times like that.

Later in the night, Tim wants to establish who is going after who, and Rob takes the chance to turn the spotlight from him and Jennifer and Cole onto Tiffany’s situation with Jay, Rocky, and Carlo.

As it turns out, Jay says he didn’t realize the extent of the relationship between her and Carlo, but he did let Carlo know he was taking her on a date, so how in the dark was he, really? Carlo doesn’t believe Jay for a second and the argument quickly escalates to a shoving match and both men being held back.

Hard to say who had more drama on their night out, but things getting physical seems to tip the scales towards the boys this time.
