Aaron Rodgers slams 'sick society' for wanting to know about his private life
Aaron Rodgers is mad! And he doesn’t mind who knows it.
The NFL football player slammed “a sick society” for wanting to know about his personal life.
‘My private life is my private life—and it's going to stay that way,’ Rodgers, said during an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show'... ‘But the entitlement to information about my private life is so f--king ridiculous and embarrassing.’
During a press conference this month, the NFL quarterback was sporting a wedding ring and revealed he got married, but he’s now frustrated by the continued speculation surrounding his personal life.
It’s a sick society, isn’t it?’ he said during the June 24 episode, ‘I lived in the public eye for 20 years. I had a public relationship. How did that work out?’
The 41-year-old who’s past high-profile relationships include Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley, says this relationship is different.
‘‘Now I'm with somebody who’s private, who doesn't want to be in the public eye, didn't sign up to be a celebrity,’ Rodgers said, ‘and because I do things in private, because I want my personal life to be private, now I'm weird and the paparazzi is stalking me trying to get a picture of her.’
Little is known about Rodgers’ wife other than her name is Brittani, they wed earlier this year, and she is not on social media.
The footballer recently signed a one-year contract to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers for this coming season and said once he retires, he will live in obscurity.
“When this is all done, I'm out,” he revealed. “You won't see me.”
“That's why we did a one-year deal,” he went on to explain, ‘This was really about finishing with a lot of love, fun and peace for the career I've had. I've played 20 freaking years. It's been a long, long run. I've enjoyed it.
