LOS ANGELES (TND) — Action star Keanu Reeves' Los Angeles mansion was burglarized Wednesday night by a group of ski mask-wearing bandits, according to reporting by TMZ.
The tabloid publication states that Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officers were twice called to the "John Wick" star's home that night: once, at 7 p.m. PST when an anonymous caller reported a possible trespasser at the property and again at 1 a.m. local time when an alarm system went off.
During the response earlier in the evening, officers were said to have searched the residence and surrounding area but found no one.
Following the alarm call, responding police say they found footage of multiple men in ski masks breaking a window and entering the house. They made off with one firearm.
Reeves was not home when the incident occured.
This is not the first time "The Matrix" franchise star has found his home under target this year or indeed previously at all.
In February, Reeves was granted a temporary restraining order against 38 year-old Bryan Dixon, who Reeves' attorney claimed to be harassing his client for months and even showed up to his house.
In 2014, Reeves had to contend with back-to-back intruders over the course of two days during the month of September.
