Adam Brody, Anna Faris among celebrities affected by Los Angeles wildfire

Savage wildfires ravaging the Los Angeles area have brought devastation to one of the city's most affluent neighborhoods, damaging multimillion-dollar estates and displacing some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

AP reports that more than 30,000 residents are under evacuation orders and over 13,000 structures have been affected as strong Santa Ana winds worsen the situation.

Amid the chaos, many celebrities have taken to social media to post about the impact the wildfire is having on their homes, livelihoods and communities.

Stars who lost their homes

Adam Brody and Leighton Meester

TMZ reported Brody and wife, Meester, lost their home on Wednesday due to the Pacific Palisades fire. Images show the property engulfed in flames, with thick smoke billowing across the area.

Anna Faris

Actress, Ann Faris lost her $5 million mansion in the fire, according to TMZ. Photos reveal rubble and remnants of mature trees where the property once stood.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt

Reality star Heidi Montag revealed in a TikTok video that the house she shares with Spencer Pratt and their children was burned down.

“I’m so sad our house is gone,” she said, holding back tears.

Cameron Mathison

The General Hospital actor took to Instagram to share the news that his home was also lost in the fires.

“We are safe. But this is what’s left of our beautiful home. Our home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their families someday,” he wrote, alongside a video of the destruction.

James Wood

Actor James Wood broke down during an interview with CNN while describing the devastation that swept his neighborhood and destroyed his home.

“One day you’re swimming in the pool and the next day it’s all gone,” he said on Wednesday.

Woods also shared a harrowing story about helping his neighbors, including a 94-year-old, evacuate during the chaos and get to safety.

“There was so much chaos, it was like an inferno... Every house was on fire around us,” he said.

Stars forced to evacuate

Many celebrities evacuated their homes as the fire spread, unsure of the fate of their properties.

Mandy Moore

In an Instagram story, Moore shared that her family and pets evacuated safely.

“So gutted for the destruction and loss,” she wrote. “Don’t know if our place made it.”

Jamie Lee Curtis

After evacuating, Curtis confirmed on Instagram that her family and home were safe, but her neighborhood suffered significant damage.

“It's a terrifying situation and I’m grateful to the firefighters and all of the good Samaritans who are helping people get out of the way of the blaze,” she wrote.

Eugene Levy

The Schitt’s Creek star spoke to the Los Angeles Timesabout evacuating the area.

“The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn’t see any flames, but the smoke was very dark,” he said.

Other stars who made statements about their evacuations include siblings, Landon and Alabama Barker, Mark Hamill, Whitney Cummings, Jennifer Love Hewitt and more.

Many are still awaiting answers on whether or not their homes made it.
