WASHINGTON (SBG) –Barack Obama has officially released his 2020 summer playlist.

Over the years, the former president has started a tradition of sharing diverse playlists. Despite the ongoing pandemic, he continues this tradition with the official release of his summer 2020 playlist to help get everyone through quarantine.

This year's playlist includes may artists that will also be performing at this year’s Democratic National Convention, including Billie Eilish, Maggie Rogers, Common, John Legend, Leon Bridges, the Chicks and Billy Porter.

“Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family,” Obama tweeted. “I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer–including songs from some of the artists performing at this week’s @DemConvention. As always, it’s a mix of genres that travels through various eras. I think there’s something in here for everybody–hope you enjoy it.”

The playlist also includes songs from other notable artists such as J. Cole, Megan Thee Stallion, Rihanna, Childish Gambino, Frank Ocean, Anderson .Paak, Nina Simone and Stevie Wonder.
