Benny Blanco’s mom reportedly hid in bathroom from intruders allegedly committing burglary
Benny Blanco’s mother, Sandra Levin, had her home invaded by alleged burglars, forcing her to hide in a bathroom.
The incident occurred at Levin’s Studio City, California home on Monday night, according to ABC7.
The outlet reported “she was left shaken up after three men broke into the two-story house” and “barricaded herself in a bathroom and called 911 after she heard the suspects entering through a sliding glass door that they shattered.”
The suspects ransacked several rooms and stole some property, but no details were available on what was stolen.
Levin also told investigators that the suspects had kicked the bathroom door off the hinges during the burglary.
Per NBC4’s report, Levin peeked out of the bathroom door and when the intruders spotted her, they ran off.
No injuries were reported and it was unclear if the suspects, who were wearing dark clothing and masks according to NBC4, were armed.
According to a 2018 New York Times profile on Blanco, Levin at one time worked at an assisted living facility, while his father, Andrew Levin, had a career in the “intimate apparel business.”
The alleged home invasion comes just two months after Blanco tied the knot with Selena Gomez.
The couple wed in September in Santa Barbara during a reportedly star-studded ceremony including the likes of Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paris Hilton and more.
