Big Ten fines Ohio State, Michigan $100K each for post-game fight

ROSEMONT, Ill. (WKRC) - The Big Ten Conference announced that both the University of Michigan and The Ohio State University have been fined $100,000 each for actions following their football game on Saturday.

The conference released a statement that said the conduct of both teams violated the Big Ten Sportsmanship Policy, compromising fundamental elements such as respect and civility.

The Big Ten emphasized that the incident also endangered the safety of participants and bystanders.

"The Big Ten Conference considers this matter concluded and will have no further comment," the conference said.

The fight went viral on social media with many people posting videos of it, including posts by Bleacher Report and Sports Reporter Nicole Shearin.
