Bill Cosby reacts to death of TV son, 'Cosby Show' star Malcolm-Jamal Warner
Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s TV dad, Bill Cosby, is sharing his reaction to the actor’s sudden death.
Cosby’s representative, Andrew Wyatt, told TMZ that when he learned of Warner’s death today, it reminded him of when he learned his own son, Ennis Cosby, was shot and killed during a failed robbery attempt.
According to the outlet, Warner, who played Theo on “The Cosby Show,” dying impacted Cosby the same way as Ennis’ murder. He recalled the two would play together when they were younger and “were amazing together.”
Wyatt also told TMZ that Cosby feels Warner made a lasting impact with his life and career and a legacy that will live on, recalling that many young men looked up to the character he played on “The Cosby Show.”
