Carnie Wilson, John Stamos, and The Beach Boys are paying tribute to the late Brian Wilson.

Music legend Brian Wilson died Wednesday at the age of 82, and the love is pouring in for the Beach Boys’ co-founder. Carnie Wilson, of Wilson Phillips fame and Brian’s eldest daughter, shared a photo on Instagram of her and her sister Wendy with their dad, “I have no words to express the sadness I feel right now.” The two had a complicated relationship at one point, but worked it out and created a very close bond.

John Stamos also shared a series of photos and videos of the late singer. The ‘Full House’ star has a long history with Wilson and the band. John played his first official show with the Beach Boys on July 4, 1985. From then on, it was a friendship that lasted a lifetime. “It’s hard to put into words what it meant to stand beside him, laugh with him, play his music with him. Brian wasn’t just a musical genius; he was a gentle, soulful, funny, complex, beautiful man,” John wrote in a long Instagram caption honoring the late musician.

Brian’s Beach Boy’s co-founder, Al Jardine shared a tribute, explaining their longtime friendship, “Brian Wilson, my friend, my classmate, my football teammate, my Beach Boy bandmate and my brother in spirit, I will always feel blessed that you were in our lives for as long as you were.”

Brian Wilson is survived by his seven children and wife, Melinda Ledbetter.
