When wedding bells start ringing, Anna Camp has her dream bridal party on lock. The 42-year-old actress, who recently confirmed she’s dating stylist Jade Whipkey, opened up about who she’d want to stand by her side at the altar one day.
Naturally, co-star Rebel Wilson, who plays her on-screen maid of honor in ‘Bride Hard’ and starred alongside her in ‘Pitch Perfect,’ is her first choice to take on the bridal party duties.
“She would be my maid of honor, of course, now,” Camp said. “I mean, I've gotten really close with Gigi Zumbado, too. She's also in the movie, so she would, I think, be in my wedding as well. And just for fun, I would just add Meryl Streep.
Wilson admits that she skipped having bridesmaids when she married her wife, Ramona Agruma, last year in Italy. She found it too hard to narrow down her closest friends, adding “I didn't want anybody to feel left out. And we just ended up doing a very small kind of family-only wedding.”

If we’re dreaming up this bridal party, Camp believes the ‘Mamma Mia’ star would be a great selection to bring good cheer on her wedding day as either a bridesmaid or officiant. Or if Camp opts for a spring wedding, the ‘Devil Wears Prada’ actress would surely make sure the bride-to-be was fashion forward and didn’t include any “florals for spring” in her wedding attire.
We’ll have to wait and see if Streep gets a bridesmaid proposal. In the meantime, Camp seems happily in love with her new girlfriend. Jade celebrated the actress being featured in the June issue of Palm Springs Life magazine, posting a series of photos from the day captioned, “You are the easiest person to celebrate and the sweetest to love. See you on the cover of @voguemagazine next.”
The actress finalized her divorce from ‘Pitch Perfect’ costar Skylar Astin in August 2019 after less than two years of marriage. When asked in an interview (next to Jade) what she expects from a guy on the first date, Camp said, "I don't expect anything from a guy anymore because I like women. And it's great."
Bride Hard hits theaters June 20th.
