LAS VEGAS (WZTV) — Carrie Underwood kicked off her Las Vegas residency Wednesday night with a sold-out show.
The REFLECTION residency serves as a celebration of Underwood’s greatest hits from her over 15 years in the spotlight. The star-studded performance featured fan favorites, one-of-a-kind costumes, dancers, aerialists, a virtual orchestra and a finale on a water wall.
Due to the show's high demand, Underwood announced that the show added six new dates for May of next year.
“I'm so proud of this show and so happy to finally get to share it with the amazing audiences here in Las Vegas,” Underwood shared.
The GRAMMY Award winner is the first artist to grace the stage at the new 5,000-capaicty theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas.
"It's such a special honor to be the first artist to perform on this incredible stage in a brand new, beautiful, state-of-the-art theatre at such an exciting new destination,” Underwood said.
As part of her residency, the “Before He Cheats” singer is donating $1 from each ticket sold to Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
