Tyler Henry, known for his work as a medium channeling for celebrities, has undergone his second brain surgery this year.

His husband, Clint Godwin, shared a post about Tyler’s health on Instagram.

“As you might remember, my husband, Tyler Henry, underwent surgery in May 2025 to remove a cyst growing in his brain,” Godwin wrote. “However, over the past month, symptoms of swelling slowly returned."

He continued, “Tyler’s medical team decided that another surgery to address the recurring cyst and swelling was the best option.”

The surgery, Tyler’s third in his lifetime, appears to have been a success and Godwin wrote that the 29-year-old is “recovering well.”

In the caption of the post, Godwin added he and Tyler “are so thankful for all the support shown to us over the last couple days. We feel so loved by so many. They say the third time is a charm!”

Tyler is known for his work on shows like “The Hollywood Medium” and “Live From the Other Side,” often using his clairvoyant abilities with famous clientele.

He had his first emergency brain surgery in 2014 when he was just 18 and shared the news on Instagram at the time.

“A mass I was born with was only now causing a life-threatening situation as my adult life was just beginning,” he wrote. “This experience taught me early on the importance of timing and trust. Without the inevitable brain surgery that ensued, I don’t think I would of had such a firsthand awareness of the fragility of life. It was an intimate reminder for me of the fine line dividing this realm and the next.”

In May of this year, Tyler shared about his second brain surgery, writing, “Brain surgery was a success! Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family. I’ll be on bedrest for a month and look forward to getting back to doing readings.”

He explained that he had a “colloid tumor near the center of my brain.”

The National Institute of Health explains that a colloid cysts “are benign, slow-growing lesions typically found in the brain's third ventricle, particularly near Monro's foramen. These cysts contain a gelatinous material composed of mucin, old blood, cholesterol, and ions—and often present diagnostic and management challenges.”
