Dakota Johnson didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction on “The Tonight Show,” but she did experience some problems with her dress.

Johnson was on the show to promote her new movie, “The Materialists,” wearing a black mini skirt and jacket with a very deep, plunging neckline.

Things started to go off the rails the moment she sat down when she said, “Oh God,” realizing sitting might reveal a little more than she planned. “This is the wrong outfit,” she joked.

Host Jimmy Fallon assured her she looked great, but added, “Just don’t move.”

Johnson quipped back, “My eyes are up here.”

As the interview continued, talking about the “SNL” 50th celebrations, Johnson attempted to adjust the jacket and asked Fallon, “Tell me if there’s a problem.”

He replied, “There’s almost a problem, but not quiteEverything is going according to plan.”

Johnson joked she needed to keep her posture straight and asked if anyone had a blanket she could wear.

Fallon handed her a tissue and she tucked it into her front like a bib to cover herself temporarily, but she ended up handing it back. The “Tonight Show” host joked he’d sell the tissue on Ebay later that night.

The interview continued and Johnson told a story about her “Materialists” co-star Pedro Pascal borrowing her sweater, which prompted Fallon to share his own story about meeting her dad, “Miami Vice” star Don Johnson.

Fallon said he complimented Don on his sweater at a party and then was sent the same sweater the next day. He presented the sweater, actually a cardigan, to Johnson.

He said she could bring it around on her travels, which made her ask, “Like the ‘Sisterhood of the’” and Fallon said, “Traveling Cardigan,’ yes.”

Fallon handed her the cardigan, and she jokingly asked, “Are you giving it away because you don’t like it?” but he assured her he loved it.

Johnson used the sweater to cover her open dress front for a moment as well, before moving on and finishing the interview.
