UNDATED (WKRC) - Dolly Parton has announced a new line of wine that brings the music icon's "contagious energy to the world of wine."
The singer who once poured herself a cup of ambition is bringing that ambition to the world with a new line of easy-drinking wines to be sold online and in grocery stores.
Parton's first wine, Dolly Wines' California Chardonnay 2023, was released in the summer of 2024. The singer has now announced two more "coming soon" offerings, arosé and a prosecco.
Dolly's California Chardonnay can be purchased online on Vivino, but are also available in select stores in the Unites States. According to The Guardian, the newrosé and prosecco will only be available in the United Kingdom-based supermarket Asda.
The European marketing director for Accolade Wines Tom Smith, who is collaborating with Dolly Parton on the new drinks, said the decision to bring Dolly to the UK was a no-brainer since they spend over 600 million (nearly $800 million) on prosecco a year androsé has only been growing in popularity, according to The Guardian.
Dolly Wines have not yet stated any plans to expand where the wines are sold.
