As families kick off summer in the Smokies, Dollywood has once again been crowned the country’s favorite theme park by the National Amusement Park Historical Association.

The honor comes from NAPHA’s 39th annual survey, with results based on votes from seasoned parkgoers, many of whom have visited more than 130 parks worldwide.

Dollywood topped the list ahead of Disneyland, continuing its reign as a fan favorite since first tying for the title in 2021.

Known for its scenic beauty, friendly staff, and standout guest experience, Dollywood has also racked up awards from Tripadvisor, Newsweek and USA Today. Now in its 40th season, the park is celebrating with seasonal festivals, a new drone show and signature events, such as Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas, through the end of the year.
