The “Duck Dynasty” family is growing with more babies on the way!

On July 20, Jessica and Jep revealed that their 18-year-old daughter, Priscilla, is pregnant with her first child due in October. However, the happy news was met with congratulations and criticism for how the announcement was worded.

“This isn’t the plans we had laid out for Priscilla, but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings!” Jessica wrote on Instagram next to a photo of her daughter, Priscilla, holding her baby bump.

Jessica added, “We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby, and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl!”

On Thursday, Willie and Korie Robertson shared whether the baby news came as a surprise, telling our reporter Courtney Tezeno, they’re “excited” to expand the family.

“Oh, no. Yeah, we knew,” Willie said after sharing that Jeb came over to reveal Priscilla’s pregnancy before posting on Instagram.

Korie came to Jessica’s defense and supported the way they chose to share the news online.

“I think Jessica kind of expressed that in a beautiful way, that she's excited about Priscilla and having her baby. But it wasn't every you know the way they necessarily planned it.” Korie said. “They are so excited and are going to love that baby.”

Jessica and Jep are parents to five kids: Lily, 22, Merritt, 20, Priscilla,18, River, 16, and Gus, 9. Fans pointed out the contrasting difference in how Jessica announced her daughter Merritt’s baby news.

On June 21, the proud mom of five wrote she was “over the moon to announce another grand baby on the way!!” accompanied by a photo of Merritt and her husband, Tyler, holding sonogram photos revealing they are expecting a baby girl this December.

One user wrote, “Sad her sister’s pregnancy was announced before hers, when clearly, she was pregnant first. I hope she knows she's just as valid as her sister.”

Korie also talked about the baby boom happening for Jep and Jessica, who will soon have 3 grandkids under 1. They just became first-time grandparents in February after the couple’s eldest daughter Lily, welcomed son Winston with her husband, Austin.

“They just had their first grandbaby, a little boy. So, they are quickly becoming grandparents. They're going to catch up with us before too long,” Korie joked.

Meanwhile, Willie and Korie continue to support their kids as they navigate family planning. The reality TV couple told us how “proud” they were when daughter Bella bravely opened up about her infertility journey on the show.

“Bella's been a little bit more private, just her personality and so but it was important for her to share that...because she knows that a lot of people are going through it,” Korie said.

“We're praying with Bella. It's hard as a mom to kind of watch your daughter go through it too, because you want that for her, and so we're lifting up a lot of prayers for her and Jacob that God will bless them with the baby,” she concluded.
