“Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson is enjoying what he calls a “semi-full retirement” on “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.” The sequel to the original follows Willie and his wife Korie Roberston as they raise their growing family of adult children and grandchildren in West Monroe, Louisiana.

When he's not busy planning the future of Duck Commander, Willie Robertson is right at home in the kitchen, whipping up hearty meals for his family. But when our Courtney Tezeno asked which dish is the family favorite, Willie playfully passed the question off to his wife to help pin down his go-to recipe.

“It's probably the deer steak,” Korie revealed. “Yeah, every year our family, we all look forward to deer season because of that fried deer steak. Oh, it's so good. He fries it, then he stacks it with, like, onions and apples and mushrooms.”

Willie chimed in, adding, “I steam it, and then I make a sauce with it, a little horseradish sauce that's so good. Yeah, that's my favorite.”

The couple has 6 children: John Luke, Sadie, Will, Rowdy, Bella, and Rebecca. The reality TV family has been sharing their life on and off screen, including Bella’s infertility struggles and more babies on the way. With the dynasty expanding beyond ducks, Willie and Korie told us how they envision their grandchildren, kids, and their spouses carrying on the “Duck Dynasty” legacy in the wake of patriarch Phil’s death.

“Phil's motto was faith, family, ducks, and he used to say in that order,” Korie said. “So, the legacy of Phil is, first of all, faith, and all of our kids are living thatWe're still right here in the Duck Commander warehouse, and there's still a lot of lot of duck hunting that's being done around here.”

Willie adds that even though they have different interests outside of duck hunting, they all have a “love for the outdoors” and know more than what’s shown on the reality TV show.

“There's time they can come back, or they may be successful in something else,” Willie, 53, said.
