Eric Dane walks first red carpet since ALS diagnosis with girlfriend Janell Shirtcliff

Eric Dane made his new relationship with Janell Shirtcliff red carpet official!

Eric Dane held hands with his new girlfriend on the red carpet for his new Prime Video series, ‘Countdown.’

This is the first red carpet event for the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actor since announcing is ALS diagnosis back in April. “I feel good. It’s so nice to be here with everybody and see the hours and hours of work that we put into this come alive on screen,” the 52-year-old told Variety.

Earlier this week, we heard Eric speak about his diagnosis and where his on-again-off-again relationship with Rebecca Gayheart currently stands. The ‘Euphoria’ actor revealed whenever he needs support, it’s Rebecca who is right by his side, “I call Rebecca. I talk to her everyday. We have managed to become better friends and better parents. And she is probably my biggest champion, my most stalwart supporter, and I lean on her,” he tearfully told ‘Good Morning America.’

The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ actress filed for divorce in February 2018 after nearly 15 years together. At the time they released a statement, ‘After 14 years together we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family. We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful kids as they are the most important thing in the world to us.” Dane continued in the statement issued to PEOPLE saying, We kindly ask that you respect our privacy during this time as we navigate the next phase of our lives."

This couple is still very close and this year the pair along with their two daughters were together on family vacations. Their divorce was never finalized, Rebecca requested to dismiss the filing. When this happens, the court needs both parties to sign and agree to the dismissal, which they both adhered to, according to PEOPLE.

The couple met in 2003 and got married in Las Vegas shortly after. The pair share two children together, Billie Beatrice and Georgia Geraldine.
