Whether it’s a new couple alert or just a new friend alert, fans were thrilled to see Christine Baranski hand in hand with a pop star on the red carpet.

“The Gilded Age” star was photographed at the re-opening night of “Mamma Mia!” on Broadway at the Winter Garden theater earlier this week hand in hand with singer King Princess.

Baranski rocked a silver suit and sunglasses, while King Princess wore a newsprint inspired blouse.

Neither Baranski nor King Princess have said anything official about the situation, but King Princess did share the pictures on her Instagram with the hashtag “loveislove.”

Whatever the status, people loved seeing the legendary actress and the young singer together.

“I honestly can’t tell what’s happening here but I’m loving that the girls and the gays are finally giving Christine the attention she deserves,” one person wrote in the comments on King Princess’ post.

“Obsessed with whatever is going on here,” added another.

Baranski was previously married to British actor Matthew Cowles from 1983 until his death in 2014.

King Princess, known for songs like “1950” and “Fantastic,” publicly identifies as a lesbian and has been linked to actress Amandla Stenberg, per Us Weekly.

The “Mamma Mia!” re-opening night was also a reunion for Baranski, who starred as Tanya in the 2008 film adaptation and it’s 2018 sequel, “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.”

Baranski posed with “Mamma Mia!” film producer Judy Craymer, Jessica Keenan Wynn, who played young Tanya in the sequel, and “Mamma Mia!” director Phyllida Lloyd.
