For me, 2023 was a year of escapism. Music proved to be something of a safe harbor when the sea became too rough to navigate. So, this year’s guide includes a nod to some of the artists who kept me reasonably sane, a few old familiars, as well as a few of the more interesting merchandise items that made their way into my email or distracted me as I made my way through curation of this year’s gift guides. I’m a little obsessed with the Alex +Ani Chocolate Frog necklace (which pairs perfectly with the Noble Collection’s plush Chocolate Frog pillow), the Mattel Creations Voldemort and the LEGO Gringotts Wizarding Bank is absolutely epic.
