LA QUINTA, Calif. (TND) — "Home Improvement" star Zachary Ty Bryan was arrested in California and charged for allegedly driving under the influence.
Online records from the Riverside County Sheriff's Office confirm that 42-year-old Bryan was arrested Saturday by the La Quinta Police Department.
Deputies told USA Today that Bryan was involved in a traffic stop at 2:01 a.m. for a vehicle suspected of being involved in a traffic collision.
Bryan was arrested for driving under the influence with priors, the sheriff's office said.
He was booked into the Riverside County jail and also faces a misdemeanor charge for contempt of court, according to online records.
He was released on a $50,000 bail for the DUI and a $15,000 bail for the misdemeanor the same day of his arrest.
This was the latest arrest for the former child star who was charged in July 2023 with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery and harassment, according to online records reviewed by People.
Police reported it was an hours-long dispute with a woman.
In 2020, Bryan was arrested on similar charges for allegedly strangling a woman, People reported.
He confirmed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that hisfiancée Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was the woman involved.
