How Taylor Swift helped THIS Marvel star pull off their engagement

Taylor Swift loves love and was happy to help a Marvel star propose to his girlfriend!

“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” star Sim Liu popped the question to his now fiancée Allison Hsu in Paris earlier this year, revealing on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” how Swift came into play.

“My fiancée works in music, she’s a digital marketing executive, and she grew up a Swiftie,” Liu explained. "She loves Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift‘s songs and her music, that was a big part even in the beginning of our relationship, was getting to know [my fiancée] through those songs and why they meant so much to her.”

He continued, “So I was like, well, if there’s one person that would make this engagement so special, and I reached out, as if we’re BFFs.”

Liu clarified that he’d met Swift “ a couple times” and the singer is “fantastic, but said, “but I reached out to Taylor through her publicist, and I said, ‘Hey, is there any way that I could convince you to make a two second video just to say congrats?’”

The 36-year-old was delighted when, just a couple of days later, the “Lover” singer came through with the "cherry on top" of his proposal.

"She is just so nice and sweet,” he concluded.

Liu said his fiancée "completely lost it" when she saw the congratulatory video, recalling, “She was really emotional before, but when I played that video, she just completely lost it. She went into shock."

The “Barbie” star shared his engagement to Hsu in May this year on social media with photos of them in front of the Eiffel Tower, and her ring, with the caption, "Us forever [ring and heart emojis].”

He added in a separate post, "From weekends in Paris, day trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch and everything in between, I choose you forever and always.”
