Howard Stern delays SiriusXM return, teases fans about future announcement

Howard Stern will break his silence soon after a slight delay.
The radio host was due to return to his long-running SiriusXM show Tuesday Morning, but pushed that plan back another week.
His social media accounts announced the new date, writing, “Howard Stern will now speak Monday, September 8” adding “Stay tuned.”
Stern’s return comes on the heels of months of speculation about his future at the radio giant, including a report last month from The Sun claiming his show would end over contract disputes.
Naturally, Stern leaned into the headlines and used them to promote the new season.
“The tabloids have spoken: Howard Stern fired, canceled, is it really ‘Bye-Bye Booey’? Chaos is swirling at ‘The Howard Stern Show,’” a narrator said in the original promo that ran on SiriusXM. “Did staffers talk to the press? Are writers withholding their best jokes? Nobody knows what’s going on or who to trust.”
The promo continued, “Now we can reveal all the questions will be answered, all the truths will be told by the one man truly on the inside. Howard Stern will speak Tuesday September 2.”
Whatever happens, Stern is sure to speak his mind!
