Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife Linda posts tribute to him on what would have been 72nd birthday

Linda Hogan, ex-wife of the late Hulk Hogan, is sharing some kind words about the WWE star on what would have been his 72nd birthday.

Linda posted a throwback photo from 1981 of herself and Hogan, born Terry Bollea, with a sweet message.

“Me and Hulkster .. 1981 Happy Birthday Terry .. I love and miss you so much ..” she wrote in the caption.

The couple were married from 1983 to 2007, sharing two children, Brooke and Nick.

Hogan died on July 24 at his home in Clearwater, Florida after suffering a heart attack.

In the days following his death, Linda shared in a comment that though they were estranged, she was “devastated” by his death.

“I had no idea he would pass away this soon . We all really thought he would make a come back ! Big surprise . We are all devastated . It’s hitting me so hard . I loved Hulkster more than he loved me,” she wrote.

She addressed his alleged cheating, saying “it hurt” and that she never started another relationship after their divorce.

“I missed HIM! I’ve been weeping all day . The finality . It’s just shocking . We spent every minute together for so many years . I’ve known him since he was 28 yrs old ! I was 22. I still love him.”

Linda also noted that she “never spoke [with] or saw him,” but their son Nick did and would update her on Hogan’s life.

She wrote, "I still felt... although broken... we still were a family. It's so hard to know he's just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick... but I'm melting down now. It's very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP."
