If you want a little adventure this summer, the newest “I Know What You Did Last Summer” cast has you covered on the must-visit stops in their hometowns. Unlike the horror film, this itinerary won’t involve a stalker killer plotting revenge for your summer activities.

Detroit, Michigan

Co-stars Chase Sui Wonders (Ava) and Sarah Pidgeon (Stevie) are both Detroit natives. Ironically, they share a common suggestion – anywhere that involves “lake time” to beat the heat, specifically Lake Michigan. The world’s largest lake, located fully in one country, is shared by Michigan residents as well as Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana.

“I want to surf on Lake Michigan,” Wonders said. Pidgeon replied, adding Sleeping Bear Dunes as another summertime destination to stop by while in Detroit.

London, United Kingdom

Across the pond, London-born actor Jonah Hauer-King says his favorite tourist spot is taking a stroll at a local park.

“I just moved houses,” he said. “I live next to Hampstead Heath, a big park in London, and they have these amazing ponds. The Hampstead ponds, you can go swimming in them, and it’s really nice.”

Hauer-King, 30, continued, “I like natural ponds. They’re very beautiful.”

Jacksonville, Florida

While Tyriq Withers proudly represents his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, the actor admits he’s a true homebody. So, we’ll offer a couple of suggestions on his behalf.

Check out the Jacksonville Beach Pier for the beach lovers or any of the museums and parks, including the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens. As for Withers, you can find him indoors during the summer months.

“I love a nice little slumber party,” Withers revealed, which came as a shock to his cast. “I am a homebody. [I play] video games,” he laughed.

When it comes to booking your next summer vacation, we’re going to quote actress Jennifer Love Hewitt’s iconic line from the original horror film -- “What are you waiting for?”
