“19 Kids and Counting” star Jason Duggar isn’t planning to expand his family just yet.

Jason and his wife, Maddie, appeared on his sister Jinger Duggar Vuolo’s podcast, “Jinger and Jeremy,” this week, shutting down pregnancy rumors.

“We are not expecting at all. We are not trying to be expecting,” Maddie said.

Jason added, "Stop saying we're expecting, that's for whoever is listening.”

The young couple tied the knot last October, but are putting baby plans on hold while Maddie continues her education.

“I’m trying to finish up school,” the 21-year-old said, explaining she’ll be getting her degree in May.

"I want to just enjoy this time. I can always get pregnant later on, Lord willing," Maddie explained. "But right now, we just want to chill. We're still getting to know each other. We know each other, but you're still getting to know each other in the first year of marriage."

While they have no immediate plans for kids, the couple admitted they do get “baby fever.”

In an video last April on their YouTube channel, Jason said his older siblings’ had an impact on their decision to wait to have kids.

"Some of the couples in my family have said like, 'Hey, we wish we would've waited a little bit — that way we could travel and do different things,' " Jason said at the time. "So that's something we both wanted."

He also noted they don’t plan to hit double digits when they do have kids.

"I loved having 18 siblings, it's wonderful being in a big family," he said. "I do love that my parents, I think their calling really was having all 19 kids. I really do believe that. But for us, we also want to enjoy every stage that the Lord has us in."
