Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez tied the knot in Venice, Italy Friday evening and almost all of Hollywood came out for the occasion. Here’s the number-by-number breakdown:

$227 BILLION

Jeff Bezos is worth $227.4 billion, according to Forbes. Bezos founded Amazon out of his garage in Seattle, Washington in 1994. He built the company up to what it is today, but in 2021 he stepped down as CEO with a desire to focus on philanthropic efforts. He is still executive chairman and the company’s biggest shareholder.

$55 Million

The actual nuptials and all the parties before and after the I do’s are expected to cost between $46.5 - $55.6 million USD (40-48 million euros) according to Reuters. Other outlets have priced it at less, but we’re going to guess renting out Venice, Italy is pretty costly.

200 - 250

That’s how many guests were invited to the wedding. So far Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Mick Jagger, Oprah, Ivanka Trump, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Brady have all been spotted in the area, presumably there for the lavish events.

2

This is the second wedding for both Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

The billionaire, 61, was married to Mackenzie Bezos for 25 years until they announced their divorce in April 2019. The former Los Angeles TV anchor, 55 was married to talent agent Patrick Whitesell until 2019.

$2,571

This is the minimum of how much (USD) it is a night to stay at Aman Venice, the same hotel Bezos and Sanchez have been staying at all week.

90

That’s how many private jets are expected to be flying in and out Treviso and Venice airports for the wedding.

$35 MILLION

The city of Venice is expected to profit about $23.4 – 35.1million USD (20-30 million euro), according to CNN.

The security, yachts, food, and designer wardrobes are just a few little added costs that will make this wedding as one of the most expensive ever.
