Joel McHale reveals he’s bald, received hair transplant - See who else got hair plugs!

‘Community’ star Joel McHale is taking everyone with him on his hair journey!

Appearing on the June 16 episode of the ‘We Might Be Drunk’ podcast, hosts Mark Normand and Sam Morril welcomed McHale who had a lot to confess!

The 53-year-old comedian revealed that he has had four different hair transplants in order to get his hair back, “Yeah, I’m fully bald. This is four transplants. I did it way back when it was a strip,’ Joel explained referring to the hair transplant method that involves removing a strip of your scalp.

McHale felt that was too painful so recommended a different method for anyone looking for a transplant. ‘Do Plucking. Now they pluck it from the whole back section and it’s like a miracle,’ McHale explained which has evolved since his first transplant.

Despite what some may think, Joel clarifies he didn’t travel to Turkey for the viral hair transplant, he received his procedure in Los Angeles, sharing that he spend $10,000 on it.

He’s not the only star to reveal this impressive cosmetic procedure, John Cena revealed he also takes part in making sure his hair is there and looking good by receiving these transplants. Another recent star to make the revelation was ‘Secret Wives of Mormon Wives’ star Dakota Mortensen,who is documenting his hair transplant journey on TikTok.
