The “Ransom Canyon” actor then set the record straight about how to pronounce his last name while admitting “The Studio” mispronounced it in the episode. Duhamel was on an episode of Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast where he made the revelation.

=“Yeah, somebody who was watching it told, me about it. And I was like ‘Yeah, it’s cool, I love Rogen and those [guys].’ But you’d think they would have called me and said like, ‘Hey, do you mind if we use your name and likeness for this?’ Or at least, ‘How do you pronounce your name?’ Because they pronounced it wrong.”

The “Transformers” star says the show pronounced his last name as “do-HAH-mill” opposed to “DUH-mel,” which the actor says, “I’m kind of flattered by it.”

“The Studio” was recently renewed for a second season on Apple TV+.
