Kacey Musgraves took a nasty tumble on tour, forcing her to reschedule an upcoming performance.

Musgraves revealed on her Instagram stories Friday that she had fallen Wednesday while in Mexico and broke one of her ribs.

“It was raining and I was running to grab some towels and had an extremely hard fall on some very slick tile I didn’t see,” she wrote in text over an x-ray showing her busted rib. “Thankful I didn’t smack my head, but I landed very, very hard on my back left ribcage and I broke rib number six.”

She continued, “This s—t is no joke. I am in a lot of pain and doing ANYTHING is extremely difficult but I’m managing and being well taken care of.”

The “Follow Your Arrow” singer shared another close up on the next slide with an arrow and the word “pain” emblazoned over the x-ray.

Musgraves apologized for having to reschedule her upcoming Sing for Science performance on Sunday, writing, “There is no physical way I can get on a plane and fly back to Nashville.”

“I am extremely bummed to have to reschedule as I have been looking forward to this for months but there is literally no other option. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience,” the Grammy-winner wrote.

She offered information for fans on the make-up date, September 18, and guided them to the Ryman auditorium’s website for more information.

The Sing for Science event was set to feature Musgraves in a conversation with world-renowned fungi expert Paul Stamets where they would, delve into the fascinating world of psilocybin, exploring what gives 'magic mushrooms' their magic," per Ryman’s website.

Musgraves next performance as of now is set for July 5 in Missoula, Montana.
