Kelly Clarkson is taking some time away to focus on her family.

On Wednesday, Kelly Clarkson revealed her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock is sick and she’s postponing her Las Vegas shows to be with her children, River, 10, and Remington, 8.

“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” she began her caption of the Instagram announcement.

“While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” the singer continued.

“I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”

This might also explain why Kelly took a break from her talk show earlier this year, as well as cancelling her first couple of Vegas shows.

“The Voice” coach was married to Blackstock for seven years before they split in June 2020. Clarkson was the one who filed for divorce from the music manager and it was finalized two years later.

We hope to see you back on the stage soon, Kelly!
