“KPop Demon Hunters” star Kevin Woo still can’t believe the year he’s been having.

“Christmas definitely came early this year, and I'm still processing everything, because these past four months have been quite overwhelming,” he told us at the 24th Annual Christmas at The Grove Tree Lighting Celebration Presented by FOX 11.

“And thank you to all the fans who have just been so supportive. You guys are the reason why we were here, to be honest.”

Woo provides the singing voice for Mystery Saja, a member of the boy band in the movie, The Saja Boys, and rivals to the lead girl group in the film, HUNTR/X.

“KPop Demon Hunters” made history on Netflix as the most watched original animated film on the streaming service, and the soundtrack scored five Grammy nominations, including Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.

With all the attention and stardom thrust upon him, Woo was grateful to share the stage Monday night with fellow boyband stars Nick Carter and Lance Bass at the Christmas at The Grove Tree Lighting Celebration.

“It was like the trifecta of the boy bands, Nick Carter, Lance Bass, and it's like for me to be alongside them, and sharing the stage is a dream come true,” he said.

He added Bass has “given me so much good advice, just anywhere from how to deal with fame and like social media and just like keeping your head space in a very healthy, you know, just kind of mentality. And he's been really supportive.”

At the event, Woo performed the Saja Boys signature song, “Soda Pop,” as well as the Christmas classic, “Jingle Bell Rock.”

Woo noted, “it's my first time performing soda pop [on] a big stage like this. So this is very, very exciting. The fans are gonna, I'm sure, be very excited.”

And looking to the future, Woo shared that he’s working on solo music and a new “subunit” of his former boy band group U-KISS called UX1, who are releasing a new single, “Halo” on November 25 and “we have a surprise Christmas single coming out too.”
