Bust out your cowboy boots and hat (and maybe a helmet), “Landman” is back for season 2!

Billy Bob Thornton’s oil company fixer Tommy Norris is busy handling crisis after crisis. “You think you understand how this business works? You don’t,” Tommy warns.

Demi Moore reprises her role from season 1 as Cami Miller, widow of Jon Hamm’s character and new owner of M-Tex Oil. “I now know why Monty was so stressed,” Cami says of her late husband as she uncovers fraud and embezzlement.

The logline for the season promises, “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’ (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble — it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”

Newcomers this season include Sam Elliott as Tommy’s father, affectionately called “Pop” in the trailer, as well as Andy Garcia, who was introduced at the end of last season.

Returning this season are Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland, as Tommy’s family.

“Landman” season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on November 16, with new episodes arriving weekly.
