WASHINGTON (SBG) - Leonardo DiCaprio's production company is the latest big name to join Apple's roster of studios under its umbrella officially.

The actor-producer's Appian Way film company has landed a deal with the tech giant that will have the studio develop new TV series and films for Apple.

According to Deadline, this deal builds on Apple and DiCaprio’s relationship after the two collaborated on the upcoming feature "Killers of the Flower Moon," directed by Martin Scorsese and starring DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Dicaprio is working on new thriller series for Apple titled "Shining Girls, which will star himself and Elisabeth Moss, known for her role in "The Handmaids Tale," and will be produced by Appian Way and MRC Television.

Appian Way already has put together quite the resume with films such as "The Revenant," "The Wolf of Wall Street," "The Aviator, Shutter Island," "The Ides of March," and "Sea of Shadows."

Apple adds another big name production company to its roster, which includes Idris Elba, Ridley Scott, A24, Imagine Documentaries, Sesame Workshop and Peanuts.
