Lindsay Lohan is a new mom

(TND) — Actress Lindsay Lohan has given birth to a boy.

This is her first baby with her husband, financier Bader Shammas.

Lohan, 37, and Shammas dated for several years before marrying last year.

The baby, named Luai, was born in Dubai, where the couple lives, according to E! News.

Lohan announced in March that she was pregnant.

The actress’ mother, Dina Lohan, told People magazine this spring that Lindsay Lohan had been trying to have a child and that the timing was “perfect.”

"We have a big family, so she's always wanted children,” Dina Lohan told People. “And she's so maternal.”
