Luke Combs got super emotional while on stage at a recent concert.

While performing at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island, the singer started crying in the middle of his set while singing “Whoever You Turn Out To Be” a song about watching your children grow up.

In videos shared by fans, you can see Combs, 35, was overcome with emotion after singing the lyrics, “But you ain’t gotta change the world to make your daddy proud.”

You see the “Beautiful Crazy” singer wipe his face with a towel while composing himself to continue the song, while the crowd was cheering him on during the brief break.

“Sorry. That got me a little bit,” he tells the crowd.

“I remember why we don’t play that one very much. I apologize,” Combs says before clarifying, “I don’t apologize, because I was in the moment there.”

Luke and his wife, Nicole have two sons, Tex Lawrence Combs, 3, and Beau Lee Combs, 2.
