Man dies after Stardust Racers roller coaster ride at Universal's Epic Universe

A fun-filled evening took a turn on Wednesday night at Universal's new Epic Universe theme park when a man became unresponsive after riding the Stardust Racers roller coaster and later died.

CBS News Miami said that a Universal Spokesperson said in a statement to them that the guest "was unresponsive after riding Stardust Racers and was transported to the hospital, where the guest later died."

According to CBS News Miami, the Orange County Sheriff's Office told them that the guest was a man in his thirties.

In response, the Stardust Racers ride has been temporarily closed, ensuring further safety measures are evaluated.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the death.
