The man who jumped a barricade at the “Wicked: For Good” premiere in Singapore to take a photo with Ariana Grande has been arrested and sentenced to nine days in prison.

Johnson Wen was found guilty of being a public nuisance a Singapore court, according to the BBC.

Local media, per the BBC, reported that Wen had tried to get into the premiere twice, once after he rushed at Grande and another time after he was escorted out by security.

Wen, who is originally from Australia, pled guilty to the incident in court and told the judge he would “not do it again.” He was sentenced to nine days in prison.

Video of the incident went viral last week, showing Wen jump over a barricade and rush toward Grande, wrapping his arms around her and jumping up and down.

Grande’s “Wicked” co-star, Cynthia Erivo, reacted quickly, stepping in and tearing Wen off her friend as security guards around the stars removed him from the carpet. Erivo and their co-star Michelle Yeoh comforted Grande and the premiere continued as normal.

Wen identified himself in an Instagram story after the encounter, saying, “I am free after being arrested.” He is known as a serial crasher, sharing videos of himself on social media jumping on stage at concerts held by Katy Perry and by The Weeknd.

Grande has not publicly commented on the incident, though Erivo may have alluded to it in during a recent screening in Los Angeles.

She told the audience, per Variety, “We have come through some s--t. I mean, fuck, even this last week, let’s be honest.”

Grande, Erivo, and the cast will be in New York tonight for the final premiere stop on the press tour before “Wicked: For Good” opens in theaters November 21.
