NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Nashville mother-daughter duo who have dedicated themselves to community and volunteer work together after overcoming obstacles are featured in Dierks Bentley's new music video "Woman, Amen."
Dierks Bentley's music video tells the story of a mother, Jennifer and her daughter, Sydnee Floyd who both dedicate their time to raise money for cancer research, prepare meals at homeless centers, wrap gifts for people in need and distribute socks, shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies for 500 students.
In the music video, Jennifer explains how Sydnee was born with PFAPA, which is a syndrome that results in fevers and sore throats, as well as EDS a condition that affects the connective tissue in her body and limits her participation in physical activities. Jennifer goes on to say how she noticed an urge in Sydnee to serve her community so they moved to Nashville away from their small familiar town so her daughter could make a bigger impact.
Since moving to Nashville Sydnee has overcome more like bullying that Jennifer says has made her a stronger person.
In a WE Day Special on August 17 the duo is going to be featured in a clip showing them make care packages then being surprised with an invitation to be featured in Dierks Bentley's music video.
