We're kicking July off with an incredibly light release week.

"The Best of Enemies," based on the true story of Ann Atwater (Taraji P. Henson), a civil rights activist, and C.P. Ellis (Sam Rockwell), a Ku Klux Klan leader, who are forced to work together when a court orders desegregation in 1971 North Carolina. It's not a bad film and will likely appeal to those who loved "Green Book" are likely to love this as well.

"Escape Plan: The Extractors," the third in the Escape Plan franchise is more akin to the original, rather that the abysmal "Escape Plan 2: Hades," as Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stalone) looks to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Chinese tech company's founder. Nothing is as it initially appears. There's no Arnold Schwarzenegger to team with Stalone (which was what mad the first film enjoyable), but you do get Curtis "50 Cent" Jacksonand Dave Bautista return as memebers of Breslin's team.

DVD

This week's DVD releases are "Styx" and "We Have Always Lived in the Castle." ""Styx" is a German film that finds a doctor embarking on a solitary boating trip who, following a storm, comes across a disabled and sinking overladen with dozens of refugees. "We Have Always Lived in the Castle" is a psychodrama based on Shirley Jackson's novel of the same name about a mysterious pair of sisters who have lived alone atop a hill starringTaissa Farmiga and Alexandra Daddario.

Digital

The faith based "Breakthrough" and the DC Comic's "Shazam!" headline this week's digital releases. "Breakthrough," the story of a young man who survives falling through the ice into a lake where he remained underwater for 15 minutes. The film was warmly received by its core audience. "Shazam!" is a comedic superhero film about an orphaned teen who is given the ability to transform into an adult with Superman-esque powers. The only problem is that he's never been a fan of comics and needs a little direction from his new foster brother.
