Pee-wee Herman headed to Austin for 35th anniversary of 'Big Adventure'

AUSTIN, Texas (CBS Austin) – 35 years after looking for his missing bike in the Alamo basement, Pee-wee Herman is returning to Texas!

Paul Reubens, the man behind the red bow tie, is bringing his 35th anniversary of "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" tour to Austin next year.

Along with a screening of the cult classic film directed by Tim Burton, Reubens will be telling stories about the making of the movie.

The screening is happening March 6th, 2020 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.

Tickets go on sale this Friday.

(Oh, and by the way: the Alamo now actually has TWO basements!)
