Rapper Quando Rondo was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and reckless driving in Georgia, according to jail records.

The documents, which were filed in Chatham County, note his real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman. He was arrested Tuesday in his hometown of Savannah and released on a $4,600 bond.

Court records show he was involved in a car crash and exhibited signs of an overdose less than a week after being indicted on four felony charges and granted bond.

Records indicated that Bowman was observed traveling "at a high rate of speed" on July 19 before ultimately crashing into another car. Emergency services responded to the scene and administered Narcan to Bowman, as he was "exhibiting signs of an overdose."

In June 2023, he was one of 19 people named in a 49-count indictment. According to the indictment, he was accused of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act for holding a management position with the "Rollin' 60s" criminal street gang.

He was also charged with illegal use of communication facility and two counts of conspiracy to violate the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.

The indictment outlined an event in which Bowman and others traveled to Macon on June 4 to pay for marijuana. He also allegedly purchased hydrocodone pills.

Bowman's attorney, Jonah Pine, told WTOC prosecutors were going “an extra mile to heap more nonsense onto Quando Rondo.”
