Sabrina Carpenter is looking back before moving ahead with new music.
On Sunday, she took to Instagram to celebrate last year’s release of her breakout album, “Short n’ Sweet.”
“Pausing from MBF to say happy one year of Short n’ Sweet,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “One year of kiss marks, camaraderie, and being so f--king horny.”
She continued, “This album is one of my most prized possessions and brought me closer to myself as well as so many beautiful people and places.”
“Thank you for still listening every single day x thank you for coming to the shows and singing till your lungs give out, thank you for loving these songs and every damn lyric as much as i do! Thank you to all my friends i got to make every song with, every video with, create the live shows with. One of the most fun years I’ve had in my whole life.”
Carpenter concluded, “I’ll never take it for granted!!! Love you all infinitely. SNS for life.”
“Short n’ Sweet” gave us last year’s song of the summer, “Espresso,” as well as hits like “Please Please Please” and “Taste,” plus her tour featuring cheeky performances and hilarious viral moments.
Her newest album, “Man’s Best Friend,” will release next Friday. The first single, “Manchild” already became a hit, coupled with a clever music video.
Carpenter will also be appearing on Taylor Swift’s new album on the title song, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
