Sundance Film Festival announces ticket packages for 2024
SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Today the Sundance Film Festival launched the 2024 version of their Festival site. They’ve yet to unveil what films will be screening, but it does give those interested in attending an opportunity to see what in-person and online ticket packages are available for locals, as well as those who will be traveling from out of state.
You might be wondering what the Sundance Film Festival 2024 might look like if the ongoing SAG AFTRA and WGA strikes have yet to be resolved by January. It’s too early to tell, but the Sundance Institute will be looking to the festivals that have and will take place over the next few months.
Here’s everything they told me:
We truly hope for a resolution to the strike for the entire industry. As we move ahead with our Festival plans we have been consulting with SAG AFTRA and WGA on how to produce the Festival while honoring the strike and we have been fortunate to be able to learn from the fall festivals. As a Festival that supports independent storytellers, we look forward to bringing those artists' work to the Festival.
Let’s hope that an agreement is made long before the end of January. If it doesn’t, the repercussions might reverberate for years.
