'Survivor 50' - Meet the contestants and everything else we know so far!
The cast of “Survivor 50” is finally here! Host and showrunner Jeff Probst made the announcement on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, revealing the biggest group of contestants yet!
This group of 24 has two winners and numerous people competing for a record-breaking fifth time and it also features an Emmy-winning director/writer of a show that you have definitely watched before.
Jeff also revealed the cast on Instagram with each player’s name written on parchment paper and removed from the urn, a la tribal council.
Here’s what we know so far about the landmark 50th season of “Survivor.”
The official tagline for this season is “Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans,” and it will premiere in Spring 2026, taking place in Fiji (which has been the setting of the show for the last 15 seasons).
Throughout Survivor 48 (which ended last week, crowning Kyle Frazier as its winner), viewers were able to scan a QR code on the screen each week to vote on different elements of the game for the 50th season. Elements included: tribe colors, if players receive rice at the start of the game, if hidden immunity idols should be included or not, if a fire-making challenge should still happen and whether fans want a live reunion episode. None of these votes have been revealed, assuming we won’t find out until we’re watching “Survivor 50.”
Check out the gallery to meet the familiar faces who are coming back to compete for the $1 million grand prize!
Don’t forget we still have “Survivor 49” coming this Fall!
