Taylor Swift receives Travis Kelce's small but meaningful date night gesture

Travis Kelce just might be fulfilling Taylor Swift’s wildest dreams.

On Friday, the couple enjoyed a date night at a restaurant in New York City, where fans noticed a small but significant romantic gesture for the football star.

Video captured by fans show Kelce exiting their car first and then walking around to the other side to open the door for Swift, offering his hand to help her step out of the car.

Normally that kind of move is reserved for a member of her security team. The video actually shows one of the bodyguards nodding at Kelce in approval of the move.

Another clip from a fan showed Kelce shaking hands with an employee before leaving the restaurant.

After he does, Swift waits a moment in the doorway before stepping out, as Kelce takes her hand again to guide her back into their car.

For date night, the couple kept it casual, with Swift wearing a light blue structured tank top and white skirt, while Kelce sported white shorts and a U.S. Soccer t-shirt.

And though the couple, who have been dating for almost two years, have been enjoying date nights like their outing earlier this month at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Florida, we can’t expect wedding bells any time soon.

Swift subtly clarified her relationship status with Kelce while visiting Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital in Hollywood Florida last week.

In a TikTok of one of her encounters with young patients, Swift said, “My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing. Just drop in on you.”

The use of “boyfriend” made it clear there hasn’t been any kind of proposal or engagement just yet, despite fan speculation after Swift and Kelce attended his cousin’s wedding.

It was also confirmed by E! News that the couple are not married.
